PCB trolley sizes and nominal capacities
Scroll the table sideways to see all specifications and configuration links.
| Slotted-panel series | Nominal board capacity options | Overall L × W × H (mm) | Quote request |
|---|---|---|---|
| 350 mm | 200 / 300 / 400 / 500 | 900 × 550 × 1260 | Request this configuration |
| 460 mm | 200 / 300 / 400 / 500 | 900 × 550 × 1260 | Request this configuration |
| 530 mm | 200 / 300 / 400 / 500 | 900 × 650 × 1260 | Request this configuration |
| 630 mm | 200 / 300 / 400 / 500 | 900 × 650 × 1260 | Request this configuration |
Nominal capacities allow for 100 boards per bay without tall components. Populated boards may need unused slots between them for clearance, reducing usable capacity. The 350, 460, 530 and 630 mm values refer to the slotted-panel series, not the maximum PCB width. Check board dimensions and component heights when selecting a layout.
- Guide-slot pitch
- 10 mm between adjacent slot centers
- Nominal board capacity
- 200, 300, 400 or 500 boards, subject to board fit and component clearance

Which PCB dimensions determine trolley fit?
Start with board length, width and thickness, then check which edges will sit in the guides and the component clearance on both sides. A dimensioned board or panel drawing helps identify components close to the supported edges. Include the number of boards to be stored and any floor-space limits. Select the slotted panels and bay spacing to fit the boards, then check the overall trolley dimensions against your workspace.

PCB trolley bays and panel layouts
Upright slotted panels separate boards into adjustable bays. Compare four- and five-bay arrangements to suit board width and storage needs. Horizontal multi-tier trolleys use a different support layout, with dimensions and capacity specified separately.
Slotted-panel dimensions and clamp hardware
The 530 mm and 630 mm slotted-panel assemblies are each 1020 mm high. Clamps and bolt connections secure the panels at the required bay spacing. Check panel dimensions, overall trolley size and usable board space when selecting a configuration.
PCB handling, packing and dispatch
PCB trolleys keep boards organized during storage and transfer between workstations. Packing and delivery arrangements depend on the trolley configuration, order quantity and shipping method. Include your delivery destination, unloading facilities and preferred assembly state when requesting a quotation.
Selection and ordering questions
Does the 460 mm series designation mean it fits a 460 mm PCB?
The 460 mm designation refers to the slotted-panel series. Board fit also depends on which edges sit in the guides, the bay width, board thickness and nearby components. Send a dimensioned drawing so the layout can be checked against your PCB before ordering.
How many populated boards can a PCB trolley hold?
The usable count depends on component clearance. The nominal 200, 300, 400 and 500-board options assume 100 boards per bay without tall components. With a 10 mm slot pitch, taller components can require empty slots between boards. Include the maximum component height on each side when specifying capacity.
Can the same PCB trolley hold bare boards and assembled PCBs?
The slotted layout can accommodate bare or assembled boards when the board dimensions and support edges fit the guides. Assembled boards also need enough space for components on both sides. Include board thickness, component heights and details of the supported edges when requesting a layout.
What should I specify for an ESD PCB storage trolley?
Specify your required ESD performance, caster type and acceptance checks. Conventional and ESD casters are separate options. The panels, electrical connections, casters and grounding arrangement need to work together with the intended floor and operating conditions, so include these details in your inquiry.
How much space does a PCB trolley need?
The 350 and 460 mm series measure 900 × 550 × 1260 mm overall. The 530 and 630 mm series measure 900 × 650 × 1260 mm, in length × width × height. Allow additional space to insert boards and maneuver the trolley. Include aisle and doorway limits in your inquiry.
Can I request a custom PCB trolley layout?
Custom dimensions and layouts are available for discussion. Send a drawing or reference photo with the PCB size, component heights, required board count and available space. These details allow the dimensions and configuration to be agreed for your quotation.
What information does YC ESD need for a PCB trolley quotation?
Send the preferred layout or panel series, PCB length and width, board thickness, component heights, required board capacity and number of trolleys. Add caster or ESD requirements, a reference drawing and the delivery country and city. For a freight estimate, state whether delivery is needed to a port or an address.
